The teachers, staff and students at Ryan Elementary have adopted the research-based Olweus anti-bullying program in order to identify and eradicate bullying on our school campus.  We believe that by teaching our students the signs of bullying and the appropriate responses to being bullied, we can help to better prepare them for their future. 

Our annual Olweus Kickoff Assembly will be held on Nov. 14, 2011.  In addition, student will participate in an Anti-Bullying Week filled with activities and learning about how to prevent bullying at school and in your neighbohoods.
